Hi Stasha! I have seen some of your beautiful hand-painted silks online — so I’ll wait while you revamp.

Heehee — we’ve talked about the coffee, haven’t we? It’s a high-energy European dark roast, without jitters. The darker the roast, the less jittery effects of the caffeine, or so I’m told.

Thank you Sandy — the two halves are speaking today. Maybe that’s because the blog IS coming together — in the right cyber space! — and I have a clearer head for painting.

Thanks NightShadow — I like doing pastels in digital pigments only. The traditional ones are very messy — well, I’M messy, and they just smear. I have used Conte pencils though, to do portraits — that was a hundred years ago.

Thanks Anita — I’d never have gotten this far with Painter had I not been taking classes every chance I get. That plus participating on Painter Talk Forum and Digital Painting Forum fairly regularly the past year has helped me grow.

I’m so glad you identified yourself, Peggy — didn’t know that other name. Thank you.

Hi Barb, Lovely watercolor! A medium I’ve always envied but can’t seem to manage, let alone master. Pastels seem to be my medium of choice both digitally and in RL. Love, love, love, the colors in this….purple, my favorite.
