Story Puts the Happy in New Year

I have to share a happy new year story with you. It’s called A Walk in the Snow with Not-So Strangers. Copyright 2009 Sandi Morse

I was roaming the Internet from the Technorati site, and through a series of clicks from here, found myself on Katie Paine’s blog. In the side bar were titles of recent posts, and this title drew me like a magnet.

The story — lived out in real life — puts the Happy in New Year.

Please grab a coffee, click on the story, and enjoy her photos as you read…

Story, after all, may exist for more than our entertainment, but certainly not for less.

Barb

P.S. Sandi Morse, a local artist-friend, painted the beautiful sunny snow scene above. Her watercolor landscapes and flower still lifes, as well as her hand-made jewelry, show regularly at the Vermilion Arts Guild Gallery in Vermilion, Ohio. She is a founding member of the Guild. I asked, and received, permission to post this one here — she sent it as a Christmas card.

Thanks, Annette. The artist who did the painting above is a personal friend. I love her landscapes — especially those with houses and or barns in them. She’s very good.

Hey me too, Cat! Thanks for coming. I’ll tell my friend Sandi how much you love her watercolor. I do too. She’s terrific!
